Monday Morning Hair Loss
I had a great weekend with my father, and if you follow along on the social networking side of things you know I was really pumped with how I did in the Downtown Dash.
That is, until my dad snapped this pic of me stretching after the race and I saw how much hair I’m losing….

Those damn digital cameras do the same thing to me. It has to be a bug in the software that won’t register hair on the back of the head.
Dude,
Our culture worships youth and makes getting older seem like a disease. I am 40 and I can now tell you from experience it’s all CRAP!
A little hair loss is nothing compared to what you have learned and gained thus far in your journey. What you lose in physical beauty you make up for in heart, experience, maturity, and depth.
I like myself so much better now than I did when I was 30. I really like myself so much better now than I did when I was 20. I’ll take my less shiny hair, dryer skin, wrinkles, and stretch marks from weight loss in return for my confidence, positivity, compassion, and understanding.
Getting old = getting better. There isn’t enough money in the world that I would take to ever go back to being “young”.
