Sometimes Monday morning just has that I-wrecked-my-car-into-a-pole-and-now-it’s-on-fire feeling. To that end, I present a video which I shot out of my office window over the summer.
Working downtown I hear a lot of screeching tires, and every once in a while a loud crash will follow the sound of skidding rubber. This time in particular a car crashed into a traffic pole at 8th and sycamore. I heard the crash, and when I saw the front end start to go up in flames, I figured it was worth taking some video. And naturally I add thrilling commentary that even William Shatner would find fascinating, like, “Runnnn!”
This was a nice 4 minute distraction for me at work one day, I hope it can be the same for you. And a hat tip to CFD who got there pretty quick.
A car fire there, another after a Bengal’s win at 4th and Vine! Lots of car fires this year.
